Whimsy Stamps and Glue Dots Inspirations Hop

Hi Everyone, and thanks for joining us for a fun joint blog hop between Whimsy Stamps and Glue Dots! The fun runs from August 27th through August 31st. Our teams will be sharing many beautiful projects featuring products from both companies, and there will be lots of prizes hidden along the hop as well as a grand prize valued at $100!

Today I’m sharing a card I created using Whimsy Stamps Pumpkin Patch Rubber stamp and adhered everything with Glue Dots Adhesive Glue Squares. Copic Colors used: B000, B00, BG01, YG25, YG45, YG67, E43, E47, E57, E77, Y00, Y06, YR04, YR07, YR16, YR18, E08.

As I’ve shared previously, I’m still working on my Copic skills, and understanding light sources and shading is challenging for me. However, I love that the DoveArt stamps from Whimsy take the guess work out of the shading! It seriously makes coloring so easy, and the detail in the rubber stamp is amazing.

I die cut the window using Whimsy Basic Stitched Oval Die Set, and adhered everything using Glue Dots Permanent Glue Squares Dot N Go.

After adding the twine, I like to add some adhesive to the back panel to hold it in place before taping everything to the card base.

Finally, I used Mini Glue Dots Roll to adhere Whimsy Enamel Dots to the front of the card.
