Simple Christmas Photo Folio

Hi Everyone! I hope you are well, and you’ve had a great summer. Sam started college this week, and Gabe is now in sixth grade. So I’ve had some time in the craft room, and I have had a great time playing with beautiful papers from Carta Bella. This is the “A Very Merry Christmas” collection, and it’s from last year or the year before.  However, 7 Kids Crafts has a new Carta Bella collection, “Merry Christmas“, that is very similar. If this vintage look is not your style, there are several other paper collections in the store for every season and occasion.

I decided to try something different in our live Facebook demo this week at 7 Kids Customers Create, and so I’m sharing this super simple photo folio. This would make an excellent Christmas gift, and you can change the style to add recipes, seasonal vacations, birthdays, etc. The possibilities are endless. The other nice thing is that this is a good starter project if you’ve never made an album before. I tried to make it as simple as possible, and once you’ve got this mastered, you can easily add many more flips and flaps for future projects.

You will have to watch the FB live tonight at 8:00 PM EDT for the full instructions on how to assemble and mat this album. However, below I will post the basic materials and cutting instructions so that you can prepare beforehand.

I hope you enjoy this fun new project! I love making mini albums, because I get to use gorgeous papers and fun ephemera. You can find other albums I’ve created HERE and on my YouTube channel.
