Hi Everyone, and welcome back! Today I am sharing a simple, yet oh-so-pretty Christmas card using new Altenew dies. That’s it! No coloring. No inks. Just beautiful die cuts for a dimensional holiday card.
I finished the Altenew Academy class, Easy As ABC, a while ago, and, although I create many cards using alphabet dies, I had not created anything lately that I thought was perfect enough to share as a final project for the class. However, this card had me smiling as soon as it was finished! I used the Layered Snowflake Stars Cover dies, and layered using Simon Says Stamp Glimmery Cardstock. I cut the Tall Alpha Die letters for Noel from the same cardstock, replaced the “o” with a Layered Snowflake die cut, and adhered to a strip of vellum. Finally I added Pretty Pink Posh Jewels, and twine for some sparkly effect.
Isn’t this card so pretty? I love all of these new dies, and think it turned out so lovely. For several other ideas on using your alphabet dies, check out the class taught be the talented Therese Calvird. Thanks again for stopping by the craft room today! Love and crafty hugs.
