Hello Crafty Friends! Today I have one of my new favorite kits to share – The Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month. These cards are a little different from the normal cardmaking that I do (as there’s no stamping or die cutting involved), but I enjoy sitting down and creating in a simple way.
The kit comes complete with everything you need to easily create several cards: Paper, cardstock, puffy stickers, chipboard stickers, ephemera, sequins, etc.
I begin by sorting the papers into similar patterns: Small, graphic, floral, etc. Then I decided what colors of cardstock work with each paper, and work from there.
Then I sort the ephemera, and select a larger focal image that appeals to me. Next I add smaller images among the ephemera and stickers that work together.
Finally, I put everything together and decide on sentiments and finishing touches. TRICK: Keep elements touching in some way, move across the card with a large focal point, and you (most likely) will have a cohesive, eye-pleasing card or tag every time.
