Hello Crafty Friends! Thanks for stopping by for this lovely strawberry card today. I created this card using the new Every Day Amazing stamp and dies set from the new Gina K. Designs August release.
I began by spraying pinks and reds Distress Spray inks onto watercolor paper. I repeated the process and dried in between each layer until I was pleased with the colors I achieved. Then I repeated with greens and yellows for the foliage watercolor panel.
Next I die cut all of the pieces, and shaded by ink blending. I cut the middle from the scalloped panel, and popped off of the card base with foam tape.
I used a yellow and white gel pen to color in the seeds and add highlights to the berries and leaves, and then glued them together before adhering to the card base and frame.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment to the center of the card, and I cut one star from the large stamp. I know! I know! Some of you just gasped, but it’s okay. Honestly! Then I stamped the star around the framed area. I love the effect. What do you think?
