Hi Friends, and welcome back! Today we are happy to hop along and celebrate the new Alex Syberia Designs December Release, and we’ve got some fun giveaways for you too!
To kick off the new release party, I’m going live on YouTube today at 11AM ET. I will share all of the new products, my makes, and… a special shopping discount code!! I would love it if you join us! You can find my channel, Everyday Expressions HERE.

I am in love with the Clematis dies and Delicate Frame & Friend cover plate! How pretty did this card turn out? I grabbed my Zig Art makers and colored the Clematis die cuts on Bristol Strathmore Smooth Paper. The markers are water based, and so much easier to use to color than watercoloring with paints and a brush. I even think it’s easier than Copic Coloring, and you get that soft, dreamy watercolor effect.

The Clematis dies have extra floral pieces to add over the larger background die cut for dimension. Paired with that Delicate background frame, it’s just a lovely combination!

Once again, my obsession with layered stencils was reinforced when I created this pretty slimline card. I used the Minimalist Flowers Hot Foil Press plates, Dies, and layering stencils for this.

I began by foiling two different sets of flowers in slightly different foils. One is glittery, and the other has a gold opalescent effect. I used the four layering stencils to ink blend shades of Catherine Pooler Violet Reds and pink onto the foiled flowers. So pretty! Right?
To finish the card, I ink blended Lisa Horton metallic inks onto a die cuts slimline panel, dribbled water, lifted, and then spattered ink. I die cut everything, and popped the layers with foam tape before adding gems and the sentiment.

Does this look familiar? Alex brought back the Abstract Background in a stamp for those who do not own the Hot Foil Press System. Everyone loved the style so much, that now we can all have this beauty in a stamp!

I inked the stamp with embossing ink, and then heat embossed WOW! Silver embossing sparkle powder on a Bristol Strathmore Smooth card panel. Next I used the coordinating layering stencils to ink blend using Lisa Horton Metallic inks. Then I dribbled and lifted water on this panel too.
I also heat embossed the new Lovely Day stamp set with the same silver powder, and die cut the pieces to tuck under the Hello & Hugs die cut and layered sentiment. I finished the card with silver half-round beads, and added a little silver metallic LH ink for an ombre effect on the sentiment.
