I used several stamps and dies to create these multi-layer, dimensional cards, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I began by stamping all of the floral, greenery, envelope, and ‘Happy’ sentiments layers with Catherine Pooler inks, and then die cut everything.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed the envelope in gold, and then used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Then I softly blended CP ink onto a white cardstock panel, and lightly stamped sentiments in the same ink color for a romantic, vintage background look. (TIP: Only blend ink towards the middle of the cardstock, and leave white around the outside. This creates interest and drama.) I stamped the ‘BIRTHDAY TO YOU’ sentiment in embossing ink and heat embossed in gold embossing powder in the lower right-hand corner, and then die cut with the Postal Frames die.

Finally, I used foam tape to add dimension while layering everything onto a white A2 card base. I added iridescent jewels from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards for a finishing touch of sparkle. This is one of my favorite things about using The Greetery’s products; everything coordinates and layers to create such a special card for someone. Your loved one knows that you took the time to create a work of art just for her!
