Hi Everyone, and welcome back! Have you seen all of the sneak peeks with Catherine and Erika of the new Nordic Wood release hitting the Catherine Pooler store this Wednesday? This might be my favorite CP release ever!

I adore the colors of pink and mint green for Christmas, and I think they look so pretty ink blended here with this emboss resist using clear WOW embossing powder with the new Snowflake stencil.
Here are the easy steps for creating this card:
I began by die cutting the panel with the Essentials Slimline die.
Lightly ink blend the Be Mine and Mint To Be CP inks.
Smoosh the WOW embossing ink through the stencil, and clear heat emboss.
Now blend a heavier layer of ink.
Dribble/splatter water, pat excess, and dry.
Use your anti-static tool to make sure embossing powder won’t stick in other areas. Move your stencil to outer edges of the card, press more embossing ink, and emboss with Clear Sparkle WOW embossing powder. Heat set.
Splatter more water, cover with Clear Sparkle, and heat set the water droplets.

Finally, I die cut the new Wishes die from Clear Sparkle heat embossed white CP cardstock and vellum. Next I used white embossing for the stamped sentiments, wrapped sparkle twine around the panel, layered the panel on a cardbase, and added the die cuts.
What do you think? I love the mixed media feel of this Christmas card. What is your favorite new product from the sneak peeks? Have you seen the adorable bunnies?! Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
