Hi Everyone, and welcome back! I hope you are having a fabulous week. Today I’m sharing a lovely card I created for the new Colorado Craft Company release featuring two Big and Bold and two Whimsy World stamp and die sets.
How pretty is that hummingbird from the Hibiscus Hummingbird as the focal point of this birthday card? I colored this card with Zig Twin Tip markers, and I love how he turned out. For a little extra sparkle, I added Wink Of Stella. What do you think?
So here’s a big tip I have for you today: If you are disappointed with the background or something you’ve colored, just cover it with vellum! LOL! That’s what I did for this, because I wasn’t happy with how I colored the flowers. I stamped the vellum, heat embossed it, and adhered it over the colored background to soften the overall effect.
