Hi Everyone, and happy November! Can you believe that it’s November already? I am far, far behind in all of my crafting, but I am excited to share some fun tips with you today in finding pretty Christmas color palettes for your cards.
I shared all of these ideas last night in a Facebook live along with the new Spellbinders’ Paper Arts Clubs. If you missed it, or would like to watch, you can view it below or HERE.

Do you ever fret over picking pretty color combinations in your cardmaking? I often do, and I found it even more difficult in looking at all of my gorgeous cardstock color options when trying to design a plan for this Spellbinders’ Paper Arts Small Die Of The Month Club card. I quickly became overwhelmed and felt lost in all of the options.

So, I turned to Pinterest, and I searched the terms “Christmas Color Palette”. Wow! Did I find some gorgeous inspiration! Below I have posted a few with the links.

Below is actually the color palette on which I settled. I was drawn to the basic traditional colors, but I liked the soft watercolor hues as variations on the usually brighter reds and greens. So, I printed the reference picture, and then tried to match (as best I could) my cardstock swatches to the palette.

How fun is this new club kit? The die cuts work well on either slimline or A2 size cards, and you can decide to stitch the pieces or just layer and embellish them. I adore the pinks with reds and different shades of green all layered with the gold foiled sentiment and embellishments.
What do you think? I was so excited about this new way of collecting a cardstock palette for cards, and you will see more color combinations in the Spellbinders’ Large Die of the Month and Glimmer Club cards I will share in the next few days.
Love and artsy hugs!
Erin

So you’re saying it’s like my work space. 😂😂😂 I don’t remember if I told you that I was seriously injured (I cut a varicose vein while shaving my legs; turned life-threatening) and have been living with my mother so my things are in plastic containers here and there and everywhere. 😂😂😂 No worries, my friend. It’s all part of your genius. 💜💜💜 Have a beautiful week.
