Hi Everyone and happy Altenew release day! I am so excited to share several pretty cards from the Vintage Galore Collection today. There’s also a blog hop with giveaways. So make sure you hop along for your chance to win.
As you know, I am a little obsessed with hot foiling at the moment, and the new Golden Days hot foil plate with layering stencil is fantastic. Seriously, how pretty is this? I used the hot foil plate with silver foil on white cardstock, colored it by ink blending with the stencils, and then colored in the background with a black artist marker. Finally, I splattered with shimmer spray, and added the heat embossed sentiment from the new Sentiment Strips 3 set.
The Golden Days stamp and die set is a gorgeous new set for your layered florals collection. I like to mass produce several flowers at a time using the MISTI. I will use one ink collection and then stamp some flowers in contrasting light to dark tones, and other florals in softer layers for a more interesting card.
I love the versatility of the Dotted Teardrops stamp set for the main layered pattern stamps, but also for the sentiments that can be used on the front or inside of the card.
Finally, I have to say I swooned a little when I finished this last card. It was so easy to ink blend and then stamp the Folk Flowers, but the final effect is lovely. What do you think?
