Hi Everyone, and happy 2022! I hope you had a fabulous, healthy, and restful holiday season. We were very busy around our house, and there wasn’t much time for crafting. So I have been very happy to get back to the craft room and create with the new Spellbinders’ club kits for the month of January.
Today I’m sharing a pretty slimline card featuring the Spellbinders’ Glimmer of the Month and Embossing Folder of the Month clubs. I now am getting so much faster and better at foiling with the Glimmer machine! I can’t tell you how fast and easy it was to mass produce several of these pretty foiled hearts and sentiments today.
I used the Embossing folder to create the cute slimline background, and I love this sweet folder. Then I ink blended reds and pink Catherine Pooler inks for an ombré effect.
Next I used three different foils for the hearts and gold foil for the three sentiments. Finally, I finished the card with gold foiled cardstock in the background, adhered flat backed gold beads, and popped everything up with foam dots.
Isn’t it fun that it’s time for Valentine’s cards again? I adore these foiled hearts paired with the embossed background. What do you think? Love and crafty hugs!
