Hi Everyone and welcome back! How is your new year so far? It has been cold and a little snowy in Tennessee. I am dreaming of spring and all of the pretty flowers.
Today I’m sharing the Congrats die from the new Spellbinders’ Paper Arts Be Bold collection. I ink blended Catherine Pooler inks in It’s a Girl, Pucker Up, Flirty Fuchsia, and Glam on white cardstock for an ombré effect, and heat set the ink. Then I used WOW embossing ink over the entire mini slimline panel, covered it with Halo embossing powder, and then heated it before running it through the die machine with the CONGRATS die.

I created my own colored background cardstock by inking directly to the paper with the ink pad, and then added Wink of Stella for even more shimmer. I repeated the process to die cut the “yay” sentiment letters, and added white gel pen for highlights.
TIP: I carefully embossed the congrats die plate using a cushioned mat in the Platinum Spellbinders’ machine to have a placement guide for the “congrats” letters on the mini slimline card. Finally, I layered everything with foam tape and dots, and added a few sequins.

What do you think? There are some very cute Be Bold dies in the collection. You can find the entire collection HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Love and crafty hugs!
