Hi Everyone, and welcome back to the blog. I hope you are well in your part of the world. It is beginning to look and feel like spring here in middle Tennessee, and it makes me so happy to see the daffodils and tulips blooming that we planted last fall.
As you know, I’m obsessed with the Glimmer Hot Foil Machine, and the Glimmer of the Month Club Kit. This month’s hot foil dies do not disappoint. The large plate offers so many design possibilities. Here I foiled it twice to cover the entire A2 card with the focal point in the middle. However, you could just foil it once for many other card designs.
I foiled using Silver Holographic Speckle from the multi pack, and it does sparkle so much! After foiling, I ink blended using Catherine Pooler inks, and then gently buffed the excess ink from the foiling.
Finally, I paired the April GOM kit with the lovely Magnolia Bouquet Glimmer plates by Yana Smakula. How pretty do these flowers look in the sparkle foil and inked in the plum color? I love how this card turned out.
