Happy Fall Y’All!! Finally, we can celebrate this lovely season with that heartfelt Southern sentiment. The colors of this season are some of my favorite for crafting and ink blending.

This Spellbinders’ card features the new Embossing Folder of the Month. It has pretty floral and foliage detail, and I knew right away that I wanted to use my favorite Catherine Pooler fall ink colors: Limoncello, Glitz, Party Dress, Sangria, Glam, and Juniper Mist.

I began by ink blending the fall colors on a white cardstock slimline panel, and then splattered and lifted water droplets. After running the inked cardstock and embossing folder through the die machine, I gently rubbed gold wax over the raised areas to better show the dimension. Then I splattered the panel with gold watercolor paint. Finally, I added the layered die cut sentiment, and adhered all of the die cut panels onto a slimline card base.
What do you think? Aren’t these colors lovely with the embossed images? It just makes me smile. Leave me a comment below, and let me know your favorite seasonal color combinations. Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
