Hello Friends, and welcome back to the blog. I know it’s still December, but today I have a lovely Galentine’s Day card to share. Is Valentine’s cardmaking right around the corner? Yes! It is.
This card features the new Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, and this month’s folder has a little bonus. It’s a two-fer! The large folder actually has two embossed scenes. So you can get two completely different cards from one folder. This is just one half of it.
I began by ink blending purples on a piece of white cardstock, dribbled and lifted water, and then inked a little more. Next I ran it through the the die machine in the folder.
Finally, I gently wiped a pearlescent pigment ink over the entire panel. I wish that the photographs truly captured how luminous and lovely this turned it out. I finished with this month’s Glimmer foiled sentiment, and a few flat-backed beads.
