My Pretty Things’ Handmade Holidays Release Blog Hop & Giveaways!

Hello and welcome back to the blog! Long time no see, right? I’m so sorry that I’ve been MIA, but I have been crafting! I promise! As many of you know, I started my own craft company a little over a year ago, and it keeps me very busy. The exciting news is that I’ve got a lot of pretty, crafty things to share!

My Pretty Things is celebrating the magic of the holiday season by sharing handmade papercrafts created with joy and love. From thoughtful cards to festive tags, each creation is a little reminder that the most meaningful gifts come straight from the heart. So cozy up with a cup of hot tea, hop along with us for plenty of holiday inspiration, and don’t forget to leave each designer a kind comment for your chance to be entered in the giveaways!

My card today features the new Postage Stamp Nativity Stamp Set, and I love the way this turned out. Y’all know I love a good silhouette stamp, and this set has my heart for the holidays. I used the new Rolling Hills Stencil & Masks and Postage Stamp Frame Stencils & Masks to ink blend the pretty night sky and rolling sands of the landscape.

I made sure to place the inked card into the MISTI for stamping the silhouettes. I used VersaFine black ink to stamp the images three to four times so that I achieved a solid black silhouette image. I added the shadows by blending charcoal pencil with a stump. Then I used my favorite white Uni Ball White Gel Pen for the starry sky and highlights.

Finally, I die cut the inked cardstock with the Postage Frame Die, and popped the images onto the white Postage Stamp card with thin foam tape. I backed the piece with gold mirror cardstock, and adhered to the card base with more foam tape.
