Hi Everyone! I am so sorry that I haven’t been a very good crafty blogger lately! Since my kids have been out of school, it has been crazy busy. However, the good news is that I have found a little time to craft, and so I will be posting some more things soon.
I quickly wanted to share something that I have been working on behind the scenes; homework from Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102. I finished (and graduated) Creative Chemistry 101 in June, and now I’ve been working through Creative Chemistry 102. This week’s homework from Professor Tim was to use various techniques using Ranger Alcohol Inks. These are a fairly new medium for me, but I love the soft, flowing colors on the glossy card stock. I still need lots of practice, but I thought I would quickly post some samples.
I am not going to explain the techniques, though, because I encourage everyone to take the classes. I thought I would know most everything in CC 101, but I learned so much. Tim literally teaches you about the chemistry and properties in each product, and how it will or won’t work with other products. Then he demonstrates various techniques using the products. You can register and complete the classes at Onlinecardclasses.com.
Please feel free to leave a comment or questions! Thanks for stopping by. Love and artsy hugs!
