Hi Everyone! I am so sorry that it’s been a while since I posted. I’ve been crafting off and on, but haven’t had time to post. It’s been crazy around here for a few weeks!
The best news is that I did accomplish my goal of 30 cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive, and today’s post is another set of cards I completed for the collection.
These were fairly simple in design as I knew time was running out of time to reach my goal. I blended soft blues, lavender, and pink Distress Inks over Hot Off the Press’ Snowflakes stencil, and then sprayed with Shimmer Spritz for added interest.
Isn’t the Merry Christmas sentiment so pretty? I love the Big Scripty Holiday Greetings from Simon Says Stamp! I completed this with sparkly silver embossing powder from Ranger. Then I trimmed the panel, cropped the corners, and glued onto a base card that was trimmed with silver, sparkly washi tape. Next I added Lawn Fawn Trimmings silver sparkle cord, and finally pearls and rhinestones in the snowflakes for a final blingy touch.
There you have it! What do you think? Simple but sparkly! Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
