Sweet November June Release

Hi Everyone, and welcome back! Today I’m sharing an adorable mermaid from 7 Kids Craft Store and Sweet November digital stamps’ June release. This lovely is Sparkle Moondrifter, and she actually has two sting ray friends with her, but I’ve just Copic colored her and then fussy cut. There are several other pretty mermaids with friends, including an adorable manatee!

I created a background with tumbled glass, broken china, and peacock feathers distress inks blended with the Whimsy stencil, making waves, and then die cut an oval. Next I stamped fish from Whimsy’s Let’s Be Mermaids stamp set, added dimension to Sparkle by popping her up with foam dots, and added Wink of Stella to her hair and tail.

I stamped the background with VersaMark and used Perfect Pearls blue patina for soft, shiny effect. I stamped the Altenew Fancy Greetings sentiment in VersaFine Clair fantasia ink, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder on vellum. I added the twine bow, and adhered everyone to a turquoise card base. The final touch was to add Little Things From Lucy’s Cards mermaids sequins.

So, what do you think about Sparkle Moondrifter? Have you seen all of the pretty mermaids from Sweet November yet? Head over to 7 Kids to see all of them with their adorable sea pals. Thanks for stopping by today! Love and crafty hugs!
