Hello Bluebird Jungle Littles

Hi Everyone, and welcome back! I hope you are having a great week! We dropped my oldest son off at the University of Tennessee for the first time, and it has been rough for the Thompson household.

Today I’m sharing the finished card from last Thursday’s live Facebook demo at 7 Kids Create FB page. Did you join us? I’m usually live every Thursday evening there at 8:00 PM EDT. However, this evening my younger son has his sixth grade open house, and so I will not be live tonight. Join me next week though for a simple photo folio Christmas gift project.

Have you seen the adorable Hello Bluebird Jungle Littles stamp set? Oh my goodness! 7 Kids Crafts has this set in stock (along with several new HB sets), and I think it is too cute for words. I combined the HB Wild About You die with the Jungle Littles and More Jungle Littles sets for this card.

I stamped the images several times with Memento tuxedo black on Hammermill cardstock, Copic colored, and then fussy cut each image.

What I most wanted to share was a technique for using texture paste, stencils, and embossing powder that I learned from the fabulous Tim Holtz. You can find the video tutorial on my FB page HERE. (Hopefully, I will have the edited version on my YouTube channel soon.)

After the demo, I finished the card to share with you here. What do you think? How many stencils do you have that haven’t gotten much use lately? Pull those out and let’s see what you can create! Love and crafty hugs!

Erin
