Hi Everyone! I understand that this is a difficult time for all of us no matter where we live in the world, and please know that I am praying for all of us. I hope that you and your loved ones are well. Although I know that things could be so much worse, I worry about what the coming weeks bring for all of us. However, my wish for right now is that a little craftiness with gorgeous new products from one of our favorite companies, Catherine Pooler, helps bring a smile to your face and fun to your craftroom. (You can find another card I shared yesterday from this collection HERE.)
The new collection is available beginning tomorrow, and there is a free stamp set for every order over $25 until March 23 (or while supplies last).
Today I’m sharing a pretty card I created with the new Catherine Pooler Zest Bouquet stamps paired with the Petal Connection Cover Plate. (All items with links are shared at the end of this post.) I stamped the limes on Arches Cold Pressed watercolor paper with CP midnight ink, and then used a Zig Blender Pen and CP inks to color the image. (TIP: The blender pen works wonderfully to color images with CP ink, but I find that it works best on watercolor paper.)
Then I cut the cover plate from CP white cardstock, and adhered it to a white A2 card base. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with blackjack ink onto a Nested Oval die cut popped up with foam. Finally, I added foam dots to the lime bouquet, and added it with some pretty green and clear CP sequins to the card.
What do you think? Isn’t the bright green of the limes so pretty? The same stamp could be colored in yellow or orange for more citrus colors too. And what about that cover plate? It adds a touch of elegance to the card, and I think it’s a must have. Thank you so much for stopping by my craftroom today. I hope it helped to brighten your day just a little. Love and crafty hugs!
