Catherine Pooler New Cover Plate Die – Petal Connection

Hi Crafty Friends! I hope that this finds all of my friends around the world safe, healthy, and happy. It is a difficult time for everyone, and please know, that although we are sharing in this fun hobby together, I am praying for everyone!

Today I’m sharing a pretty card I made featuring the new Petal Connection Cover Plate Die and Beautiful Word Die from Catherine Pooler’s release, Forever 13. What a lovely combination are these with the Smile, Beautiful Sentiments Stamps? I love how this card turned out! (You can find other cards I created from this new release HERE and HERE.)

CP Petal Cover 2 — *I adore Party Dress ink! The more color you add, the deeper the pink color becomes.*

I die cut the cover plate from CP white cardstock, and blended Party Dress, Tutti Frutti, Orange Peel, and Shea Butter inks over it for an ombre effect. Next I die cut the Beautiful outline die from black cardstock, and the inner die from white cardstock inked in Tutti Frutti. After deciding on the sentiment die cut placement, I stamped the You sentiment using my MISTI, and then added the stamped hearts in Samba ink. Finally, I adhered the beautiful die cuts together, glued onto my card, added sequins from the Kitchen Sink mix, and adhered it all onto a black A2 card base.
