Catherine Pooler Waves of Happiness Release May, 2021

Hi Crafty Friends, and welcome back! I am so excited to share with you today the new Waves of Happiness release available now in the Catherine Pooler Designs store.

There are so many adorable ocean themed craft goodies in this release, that you may just “Want It All”! Seriously, there are puffins, fish, and adorable floral ocean friends stamps and dies to pair with slimline dies, cover plates, background stamps, and patterned paper.

I Copic colored these cuties on XPress It cardstock, and then added cute details (like eyelashes) with gel pens.

I even used the new ink refills to create my own ink sprays in mini mister bottles, and I adore the ocean look it created. Hopefully, I will have a video for you about this soon on YouTube.

The slimline background took a while as I paper pieced everything onto the background, but removed the positive die cut and only kept the negative pieces in place.

So? Are you as excited about this release as I am? This Ocean Chums set may be my favorite CP stamp set of all time! I can’t wait to see what you create with these adorable products! Love and crafty hugs!

  1. Dear Erin – I had to say “want it all” for this from CP. I have never ordered a full release from any company before – not that I can recall, anyhow. But there were SO many absolutely fantastic items in this release — CP just nailed it! I had to order the whole sha-bang!
Your card is simply BEAUTIFUL! Love the color choices, the composition, the way your “ocean” waves look like salt water – is that the effect of the mister? Wow… love that! It almost looks like you sprinkled sanding sugar on your card!
