Catherine Pooler Ex Libris Release

Hi Everyone, and Happy Catherine Pooler release day! Today I have one more card to share that I created with the In the Parlor Bundle from the new Ex Libris release.

I love coloring the sweet Love Birds with alcohol artist markers. They are so sweet and pair with the new patterned paper perfectly.

I wanted to create a vintage, old paper feel for this card. I used my Tim Holtz scissors to distress the patterned paper edges, and added some ink. For the background, I ink blended Clay Mask and new Terracotta inks, and then dribbled some water. Finally, I blended Terracotta on the background card base.

How pretty are those sweet stamps? I love the depth and shading from the artist markers, and how perfectly it matches the new Apothecary Inks.
