Pixi Dust Designs December Release

Hi Friends, and welcome back! Today I’m excited to share a new favorite company of mine! I have fallen head-over-heels for Pixi Dust Designs! Have you seen some of their adorable cards yet?

You know I can’t resist ink blending a night sky for a lovely silhouette card! So of course I used the new Let It Snow Slimline dies to create this lavender-hued scene. I ink blended shades of Distress Oxide for the night sky and snowy hills. Then I Copic colored the birch trees, and blended some lavender shading. Next I colored all of the images black, and assembled the scene. Finally, I finished it with yellow gel pen for lighted windows, glitter for the sparkle, and ink blended lavender and navy inks for the shadows and shading.

What do you think? I adore how this card turned out. I think lavenders make a beautiful winter’s night scene, and paired with this gorgeous slimline die set? Ooh La La! Love and crafty hugs!
