Hi Everyone, and welcome back. Today I’ve got something very exciting to share with all of you Anita Jeram fans…The Way of Water collection. It is a lovely ocean-themed collection featuring a different style of art from Anita Jeram, and it even has mermaids!

I’ve tried to capture the flow and style of these images in two very different ways. The first card is a shaker card featuring heat embossed Mermaid & Penguins in white WoW! Embossing powder on acetate. I created the background with pretty blue Distress Ink sprays from Tim Holtz. The custom sequin mix is one I created for the Nashville Craft Retreat last year, Sea Stars.

I stamped Mermaid & Whale using VersaFine Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth, and then watercolored with Zig Brush Markers. I finished the details using different gel pens for highlights and shimmer.

That shaker card is so inspiring! I can do something like that! And then your other card showed off your coloring skills and I love your colors. Being a paper & diecut person I love all the artistic scenes everyone is able to create but do not feel capable of doing it myself. Thank you for giving me an option for using these (or any other) artistic stamp.

Thank you so much! I agree that all of the artists’ cards are gorgeous, but often intimidating. I do like to share an alternative to coloring with images.
