Flea Market Finds Cards

Hi Everyone, and welcome back! Today I have two lovely cards featuring the new Flea Market Finds collection from Spellbinders Paper Arts. Last week I shared adorable tags and dies featuring this collection (view that post HERE), and today I used the beautiful, jewel-toned papers layered with ephemera for these vintage-vibe cards.

I began by matting the papers on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, and inked the edges with Distress Vintage Photo. Then it was just a matter of gathering my favorite pieces of ephemera, and layered with foam tape for extra dimension.

The floral focal point is a large sticker, and I removed the stickiness by brushing with anti-static powder. Then I popped it up with foam tape. Finally, I finished the card with a cute little twine bow.

I like to select an interesting piece of ephemera as a focal point. It doesn’t have to be a sentiment as long as it’s the star and adds interest to the card.

What do you think? I adore these lovely cards, and that they are a little different from my norm. If you junk journal, scrapbook, or make vintage-style cards, you are going to love this entire collection. Love and crafty hugs!

CARD SUPPLIES

A note about supplies: Affiliate links used in this post at no cost to you. Did you know that when you shop by clicking my store links I receive a small tip from the stores? I do, and to pay it forward I donate all proceeds to important charities. Recently I donated to earthquake relief in Turkey through Samaritan’s Purse and to my favorite gentle giants at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting the important work of these charities!
