A Spring Basket Card

Hello Crafty Friends, and welcome back to the blog. Today I have an adorable springtime card featuring a cute bunny bum as he falls into a basket full of carrots and flowers.

This card features the February Large Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders Paper Arts. The kit comes with all of the dies to create this cute basket with bunny, carrots, and flowers. How darn cute is that?

I began by creating Distress Ink Spray and Oxide Spray panels in the colors for the die cut pieces in gray, pink, orange, green, and brown. Next I cut all of the pieces from the respective colors, and added a little ink blending for shading.

I die cut and ink blended a scalloped background, and then layered a smaller die cut vellum panel over it before adhering both to the card base. I organized all of the pieces, layered, and adhered everything to the card. Finally, I added the sentiment, and finished the card with white PH Martin’s Bleed Proof White spatters.

What do you think? How cute is this fun card? I just adore it. I hope to edit and post a YouTube tutorial for this card soon. I will let you know when it is posted, and add it here as well. Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today. Love and crafty hugs!
