Hi Everyone! I’m taking another Altenew class, and this one is entitled, “Clean and Simple Boutique Cards“. These pictures did not come out very well, and they really don’t do this card justice. It is so much prettier than it appears. It would make a beautiful wedding card due to the clean, subtle, and classic elements.
First, I gold embossed vellum flowers using the Hennah Elements stamps set, and then used the matching dies to cut them out. Next, I die cut some of the leaves, and ran them through the Big Shot with Neenah cardstock to create impressions on my card. I used the gold tinsel embossing powder to create an accent strip with black Crafter’s Companion Shimmering Cardstock to create an interesting edge. I used foam dots to attach each flower, and then gold embossed the sentiment. Finally, I used foam tape on the back of the white cardstock for dimension on my card, and added sequins.
I hope you can zoom in and see the impressions made by the leaves. Aren’t they so pretty? I love the way this card turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
