Altenew Card Sets

Hi Everyone! This is the first post in a couple of weeks, and I am so excited to share this set of cards with you. I went to a ladies neighborhood dinner for the holidays and needed to take three of my “favorite things” to share in a gift exchange. We could only spend $6 or so on each gift. I found some pretty pens and made three sets of cards using Altenew stamps and dies.

I made this first set using Altenew Golden Garden stamps and the Crisp Dye Inks. I emobossed the sentiments first in silver with the Halftone stamps from Altenew, and then added the matching die cuts using Crafter’s Companion Shimmering Cardstock in black. Finally, I added base layers of CCSC in Silver Starlight and black to the card base, and that’s it!

To finish the set, I stamped matching envelopes, and wrapped the set with the pen in tissue paper. Everything was placed in a matching box and wrapped in a beautiful black ribbon. Don’t you love the easy, artistic lines in this flower set? I was very happy with the final result!

Thanks for sticking with me during the break! I was busy decorating for Christmas, and my back went out last week. Thankfully, I have a wonderful chiropractor who fixed me in less than a week this time. I hope to post the other sets, and maybe a couple pictures of my hall Christmas tree this week. Take care everyone.

Love and crafty hugs!

Erin
