Whimsy Stamps Release Week Day 4

Hi Everyone, and welcome back to Whimsy Stamps’ Release Week! Today I’m sharing a seriously cute card with the new stamp set, The Nope Rope. This is a special set, because it was designed by sister Melissa! How fun is that? I adore the punny sentiments (even though I am not a fan of snakes – at all), and I think the doodled snakes are pretty cute too.

I used the Grass and Cloud Edger dies in two ways on this card. I began by die cutting the grass from Neenah 80 lb. cardstock, and used Distress Oxide inks to blend the greens. Then I used a cloud stencil I created with the dies to blend tumbled glass Distress Ink for the sky. Next I stamped, Copic colored, and fussy-cut the snakes before adhering to the background. Finally, I stamped the sentiment, added the ‘HI’ Bold ABC die cut letters (colored with Copics too), added the flowers I had left over from the July Paper Door kit, and taped the entire panel to a Neenah 110 lb. A2 card base. (Click HERE and HERE for the two cards I created using last month’s Paper Door kit.)

So … what do you think? Isn’t this stamp set so cute? This would be great for cute little Valentine’s Day cards, masculine cards, or little kids’ cards! Thanks again for joining me in the craft room today. Love and squeezy hugs!
