Picket Fence Studios Botan Peony Watercolor

Hi Everyone, and welcome back! I hope you are having a great week, and the weather is nice where you live. It’s lovely here in Ohio. Today I am sharing the gorgeous Picket Fence Studios Botan Peony stamp I purchased from 7 Kids Crafts, and, honestly, it’s one of my favorite stamps of all time!

I am just learning how to use Zig Real Brush Markers, but I love to watercolor with them. I am so pleased with how this peony turned out. I first stamped the flower in Memento Angel Pink for a no-line effect on Bristol Strathmore smooth paper. After watercoloring with three pinks, I decided it needed a pop of purple for shading and drama. Then I painted the stem and background, and stamped the thank you sentiment from PFS Small Ways To Say Thank You stamp set with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, trimmed, and matted it onto a card base.

Finally, Wink of Stella and Pretty Pink Posh jewels in Pink Blush added a little finishing sparkle. So what do you think? Do you love this stamp as much as I do? There are so many different ideas floating in my head for this one! Love and artsy hugs!
