Hi Crafty Friends! I thought I should hurry and post these last two cards I created using last month’s Club Sursee card kit from Catherine Pooler Designs before this month’s kit arrives.
How cute are these two cards? Oh so quick and easy to create too! This stamp set had several pieces that you stamp to create pretty patterns. I just placed the primary diamond strip in the MISTI and moved the cardstock to stamp it multiple times in the pattern I wanted using Midnight archival ink from CP. Next I used the smaller stamps on blocks to stamp in the details. I tried to create an ombré effect on this one with Juniper Mist, Aquatini, and Fiesta Blue inks, and then I created a Juniper Mist border for this card as well.
For this card, I again used the MISTI for the primary pattern in black ink, but this time I created a shaded effect using a Zig blender marker and Juniper Mist, Aquatini, and It’s A Boy inks. Then I stamped the cute little flowers and dots, heat embossed the sentiment on a vellum strip, and created borders with It’s A Boy. Finally, I added twine and Tinseltown sequins to both cards.
Like I said: So quick and easy, but oh-so cute. What do you think? Have you joined Club Sursee yet? I love the sweet, purple, surprise envelope that arrives every month. Love and crafty hugs!
