Hi Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a fun card I created with the new Call Me! stamps and Stitched Squares Dies from Catherine Pooler’s latest release, In the Kitchen.
I thought it would be so fun to create a “Pop Art” Call Me card in the iconic style of Andy Warhol. Also, this card was inspired by the talented Jennifer Rzasa of Our Change of Art Blogspot, and a card she created a while back in the Pop Art style. I stamped the four phones in Catherine Pooler inks, and then die cut the pieces. Next I cut four stitched squares from CP white cardstock, and directly inked the squares with ink pads for a saturated background panel.
I pieced the squares together on a square card, and popped them up with craft foam. Next I die cut more phone pieces from craft foam to give the whole concept more “pop” by layering it under the stamped images.
So what do you think? I know this is a little different than my usual style, but it’s so fun and bright. You can find another very different card I created with this stamp set HERE. Also, I created other cards from this new release, and you can find them HERE and HERE. Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
