Hi Crafty Friends! Are you ready for the final bundle in Catherine Pooler’s new In The Kitchen release? Catherine saved my favorite for last, because this one has flowers and a layered happy die.
I think this card is my favorite from all of the ones I created for this entire release, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you! You know that slimline cards are one of my new crafty obsessions, and I cut a piece of CP white cardstock to 8.75″ x 3.25″ for the stamped panel. Next I stamped the flowers and leaves from the So Happy stamp set randomly in Sauna, Shea Butter, Mandarin Spice, and Rouge CP inks. Then I stamped the middle flower accents and the sentiment in Icing on the Cake ink, and stamped the dotted accents in Over Coffee ink.
I decided to cut the bottom happy die layer from the new Potluck Party cardstock collection for a little interest, and then inked some white CP cardstock in Shea Butter and Mandarin Spice to create my own colored cardstocks. I die cut the other two happy dies from the inked cardstock, and glued all three layers together before adhering to the stamped background. Finally, I added twine and Des Moines sequins before taping the panel to a green slimline card base (9″ x 7″ scored at 3.5″ for the fold).
Don’t forget that StampNation members can order early at 12:00 PM EST tomorrow, and they will receive a small, free gift with their order until 8:59 AM EST Wednesday (while supplies last). Everyone else can order the new In The Kitchen release on Wednesday. Do you have a favorite? the new coverplate dies? New stencil? This adorable So Happy stamps and dies? It’s so hard to pick just one! Happy ordering and crafting!
