Hi Crafty Friends! Have you organized your shopping list for the new Catherine Pooler release tomorrow? Basically, anything I didn’t receive for the design team projects was added to my shopping list! LOL!
How pretty is this new Flower Burst Cover Plate as a shaker card? I began by ink blending CP Spring Fling ink colors directly to CP white cardstock, and then I ran it through the Vagabond. Next I cut a frame to add extra space for the shaker window foam, added Scor Tape to the back, adhered the acetate window, liberally placed Springfield sequins to the card base, and finally added Darice foam strips to the acetate window before adhering to the sequins base.
I am so excited that CP added a set of Layered Tag Dies to this release. Everyone needs at least one set of good tags in their stash, and these are perfect. I die cut one, stamped the sentiment from the Grace In Bloom Foral Stamp Set in the MISTI, and then stamped again with WOW embossing ink, added clear embossing powder, and heat set it. Then I added a green grommet and pretty twine to the tag before adhering it to the shaker card.
