Hi Everyone! I hope you are well, and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by my blog today! This is a second set of cards I created at Christmas using Altenew Majestic Bloom and Halftone stamps. The first set I gave as a gift to my good friend. I thought they were so pretty and fairly easy to create, that I made two of each card to save one set for myself! (For other Altenew card sets I created, click HERE and HERE.)
I am a huge fan of Altenew stamps and Crisp Dye Inks, and they pair perfectly to create gorgeous layered stamp cards. I dug through my paper stash to find two colors of cardstock that would closely match the ink colors for each flower. Hopefully, Altenew will soon release cardstock colors to match their inks. 😉

The MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) helped make the production of these card sets so much easier than trying to eyeball the alignment of the layering stamps! Once you place the first stamp, it’s a cinch to stamp the rest of the cards. I always begin with the solid flower in the lightest color, followed by the mid-tone, and then the darkest.

The sentiments are Halftone Happy and Halftone Thanks. I reach for these stamps all of the time! Most sentiments I stamped in VersaMark and embossed, but I die cut craft foam and embossed a couple also. I like the dimension this adds.
Finally I popped the top panel with foam tape for interest, taped it onto the card base with the two cardstocks, and added Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets and Sequins for bling.
There it is! What do you think? I think my favorite is the blue happy birthday, but the yellow is a close second. Thanks again for stopping by. Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
