Hi Everyone, and welcome back! I hope you had a great weekend. Were you able to join us live on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page last Thursday? We created this fun Lavinia scene paired with Altenew Beautiful Peony, and I have to say that I love, love, love how this card turned out!
You can get all of the details in the video linked to my YouTube channel HERE:
I began by fussy cutting peonies and leaves from Inkadinkadoo masking paper, and then stamped layered flowers using Versafine Clair nocturne ink and the masks. Then I masked the peonies and moon before blending Distress Oxide inks for the background, and tore cardstock to create a mask for blending more ink for the rolling hills. Next I removed the masks, and used Zig brush markers to watercolor the peonies and leaves.
I used Hero Arts white pigment ink to blend the moon and added shadows with mermaid lagoon DO ink.
Next I stamped the Star Gazing Lavinia stamp in nocturne, and the mushrooms in warm breeze.
Finally, I added the masks again, and lightly stamped Lavinia Fairy Words in the night sky. I added a little silver gel pen for highlights, and layered cardstock onto a card base.

So there it is. What do you think? I love that it looks like these wee fairies are sitting beneath the peony bushes and admiring the full moon on a warm summer evening. Love and crafty hugs!
