Hi Everyone! I know what you are thinking; This post is several weeks too late! It is, but I completely forgot about this beautiful set of cards I created at the last minute before Christmas.
This set was so pretty and easy to create that I couldn’t not share it – even if it is several weeks after the holiday. I thought this would be an easy tutorial in case you have a pretty background stamp, and need some quick cards for another occasion.
I used the Catherine Pooler Vintage Baubles Background Stamp, and heat embossed it in gold embossing powder on red cardstock. Then I gently blended Rouge CPD ink around the outside of the cardstock. Next I cut two stitched tags from gold and white cardstock, and heat embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment from Here We Come A-Caroling Stamp Set. Finally, I layered it all on Tim Holtz Idea-ology metallic cardstock, and added gold twine.
